Leisure & Activity Facilities
Ceresa offers a wide range of leisure and activity facilities for the pleasure and convenience of residents and their guests.
USE OF FACILITIES AND ANY EQUIPMENT IS ENTIRELY AT YOU OWN RISK.
Please do not use any area or equipment that is damaged or unsafe to use; instead, report it promptly so that repairs can be arranged.
The apartments are not designed to accommodate get-togethers of more than about six to eight persons; large groups in an apartment create disturbance and noise that impose on your neighbours. Residents are invited to make use of the Residents' Lounge (for up to twelve persons) or Function Room (for up to forty persons) for gatherings, provided that they will be quiet (no music) and finish by 10 pm latest.
NO P A R T I E S please. Ceresa is not a suitable venue for any party where music will be played. Large, loud, or late parties should be held at an external venue that can cope with the numbers, noise, and late hours.
Residents' LoungeNavigate Facilities
The shared Residents' Lounge is open 7 am to 10 pm daily for the enjoyment of residents and their guests; your group (residents and visitors, including children) should not exceed twelve persons.
Use is not exclusive; please share the space. There is no need to reserve the lounge, indeed, you cannot reserve the lounge — just come down and relax on comfortable couches; or work, discuss, play cards or board games, or share a meal with friends around the tables.
A bar counter with sink, fridge, and microwave helps you keep and serve food and drink that you have brought in.
The Residents' Lounge is right next to the swimming pool and spa. Toilets and showers are down a short passage, adjacent to the Games Room and Sauna.
There a just a few common-sense rules about using the Residents’ Lounge, designed to ensure that you do not disturb other residents while using the lounge, and that after use you leave the facilities ready for others, just as you would like to find them.
If you want to host a larger gathering, please book the Function Room.
Private Function RoomNavigate Facilities
If you want to host a private function for a birthday, anniversary, or other occasion, or if you want to entertain a group of more than twelve persons, and up to a maximum of forty, the private Function Room is available.
The Function Room must be booked in advance, and a fully-refundable $400 bond must be paid; you get exclusive use of the Function Room and the adjacent outdoor area, but not of other shared facilities.
The Function Room has comfortable lounges, coffee tables, outdoor table and chairs, three trestle tables and 24 stackable chairs, and a bar counter with sink, fridge, microwave, and 90cm fan-assisted caterer's oven. The outdoor area is enclosed and laid to synthetic lawn. You may re-arrange the furniture to suit your needs, or hire (from external providers) tables, chairs, and catering service if required for your function.
To get your bond back, simply ensure that the Function Room and outdoor area is undamaged, clean, and tidy. As with all shared facilities, there are few common-sense rules.
Download and submit the booking form.
Heated Swimming PoolNavigate Facilities
The heated swimming pool is open during daylight hours (7 am to sunset) every day for residents and their guests to enjoy. The Department of Health has not certified the swimming pool for night-time use, and the Strata Company insurance does not cover night-time use.
An adult (aged 18+) exercising effective control must be present inside the swimming pool enclosure to supervise any persons aged 14 years or less. You cannot supervise from the Residents’ Lounge or a balcony overlooking the swimming pool; you must be present within the enclosure.
Please read and observe the rules displayed at each entry point to the enclosure, and the Brief Guide.
It is very important that no glass objects are taken into the pool area. Broken glass in the pool or enclosure poses a significant injury risk to pool users. Clear glass is most dangerous as it is invisible under water. If broken glass falls, or is suspected of having fallen, into the swimming pool, it is mandatory to drain the pool and clean it. The cost of draining, cleaning, refilling, adding pool chemicals, and heating to temperature runs into thousands of dollars and will be recovered from the resident(s) responsible for violating the 'no glass' rule.
Six to eight sunlounges are available on the pool deck for your use so you can relax around the pool. Three umbrella bases are provided; please bring your own umbrella if you wish to be shaded while lounging on the deck.
The pool is heated from October to April to approximately 26°C, informed by best practice for municipal swimming pools.
SpaNavigate Facilities
The spa is open during daylight hours, from the later of 7 am or sunrise, to the earlier of 7 pm or sunset, every day for residents and their guests to enjoy. As with the swimming pool, the spa is not certified night-time use, and the Strata Company insurance does not cover night-time use.

There are two treadmills, two cross-trainers, two stationary cycles, a rowing machine, various weights machines offering a range of exercises, dumbbells from 0.5kg to 40kg, two benches, two abrollers, three exercise balls, variable height steps, and a selection of mats.
The gym may be used from 5 am to 10 pm daily. The gym is locked overnight. You need your own key to open the gym if you are first to use it in the morning. Please take care to avoid making noise, especially in the early morning or the later part of the evening
Residents who use the gym are asked to take care to avoid injury and keep it safe for all users. All equipment must only be used in the manner for which it was designed. Use the emergency stop cord on the treadmills. Wipe down equipment with your towel or an anti-bacterial wipe (provided) after use.
If you need to turn on the air-conditioning please remember to turn it off when you leave. Should any equipment be damaged or faulty, please do not use it but report it to the Building Manager promptly so that repairs can be arranged.

A basic set of pool balls, an 8-ball set, a selection of cues, and spider / bridge cue-rests are provided. More accomplished players are invited to bring their own favourite cues, rests, and balls. For the avoidance of argument, more serious players may like to refer to the summary of rules displayed on the wall.
The room may be used by residents and their guests between 7 am and 10 pm daily.
Please take good care of the table and related equipment. Do not sit on the edges of the table—it may damage the cushions—or place drinks anywhere on the table. Please ensure that you switch off the lights and air-conditioner when you leave at the end of your game. Please leave the area clean and tidy, ready for the next users, just as you would like to find it. Take any empty beverage bottles back to your apartment of deposit them in a bin room.
SaunaNavigate Facilities
A suana can be invigorating on a cold winter's night, or restorative after a work-out in the gym. Residents may enjoy the dry cedar-panelled sauna between 7 am and 10 pm daily. The powerful, rock-filled, electric heater brings the sauna up to full temperature in 15 - 30 minutes. No liquid should ever be poured on the rocks, or on the heater, or the floor—the sauna is designed to be dry. Please sit, lean against, or lie on your own, clean towels to absorb your perspiration and protect the benches and walls; this will also prevent the development of unpleasant odours in the sauna. Inform your self about sauna use and take sensible precautions, and observe the common-sense rules.
BBQNavigate Facilities
A family-size, four-burner, natural-gas-fired, stainless steel barbecue provides a versatile cooking facility to complement the Residents' Lounge or any one of the three outdoor seating areas. Please clean the BBQ after use - aim to leave it as you would like to find it.
